The Insuratei Vineyard, being located close the Danube Delta and the Black Sea, enjoys a higher average temperature than the other wine-growing areas of the Danube territorial wine region.
The 45th parallel north passes through the territory of the Viziru – Insuratei localities so that our vineyard is chained with famous European vineyards and those in other continents.
The Dropia vineyards lie in an area of reddish landscapes which mirror those in Montpellier, Bordeaux and Burgundy in France, and Piemonte in Italy, all lying on the same latitude belt and benefitting from the same climate.
The vineyards are embraced by the Viişoara Forest, a renowned natural ecosystem of secular oaks, which guarantees the long-term sustainability of fine viticulture balanced with the preservation of the environment
